Primary Role

Responsible for supervising front-line personnel and implementing operational processes that are engaged in the functional area of Production for water and/or wastewater operations. 

Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of the regulated water business and the regulations impacting the business.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures and management theories, practices, and trends.
  • Expert knowledge of process and operational areas.

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in operational discipline, management, or related technical discipline is preferred, not required.
  • Class A Water treatment license, or the ability to obtain Class A Water treatment license within 6 months, required.
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience of operations and production experience in utilities and/or water utilities industry is preferred
  • Must have prior experience in managing people or leading cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and remain flexible and perform effectively under pressure is required
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems

 

Work Schedule

  • Day shift: Monday through Friday, 7am - 3:30pm or 8am to 430pm 
  • Must be available for on-call duties as needed, including evenings, weekends, or holidays

Certifications/Licenses

Relevant state license(s) may be required or preferred
Driver’s license required.
Certifications/Training in Safety preferred.
