Primary Role
We’re thrilled to share a fantastic career opportunity at our Olivette, MO location.
The fleet garage mechanic repairs, cleans, polishes, and maintains automobiles, trucks, and other construction, maintenance, and building equipment..
This role will require a weekly schedule of Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Possible OT
This position may be eligible for annual incentive pay and contracted increases as determined by the collective bargaining agreement, and you will have the opportunity for continued salary growth.

Key Accountabilities
- Repairs, cleans, polishes, and maintains automobiles, trucks, and other construction, maintenance, and building equipment.
- Performs building maintenance and makes minor additions to buildings, when required.
- Answers the telephone, DLCC alarms and radio on those shifts when on duty alone or with another Garage Mechanic.
- Refers, when necessary, special service requirements or emergency calls to the proper Customer Service Worker, Troubleshooter, Inspector, Crew Chief, or Supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Tools supplied by company.
Knowledge/Skills
Ability to understand diagnosis and repair of cars, truck, and equipment.
Ability to work on gas and diesel engines.
Welding experience a plus.
Experience/Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
Experienced in automotive repair.
Automotive certificate or degree preferred.
