Position Information
Posted Range: $30.77/hour
This position may be eligible for annual incentive pay and contracted increases as determined by the collective bargaining agreement, and you will have the opportunity for continued salary growth.

Primary Role
The Utility Clerk answers phones from internal and external stakeholders, retrieves service line measurements from records, and provides information to service persons.
Key Accountabilities
Prepares mail, UPS, other packages for mail/shipping.
Forwards appropriate written correspondence to the call center.
Forwards payments received to lock box along with duplicate bill, if necessary.
Sends meter reading schedule to appropriate personnel monthly. Assists with job duties of Materials and Supplies Clerk and Distribution Clerk, as necessary.
Assists Commercial Department in Calling customers to help set up appointments for meter readings, meter changes, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Water Company supervisor.
