Primary Role

Responsible for managing compliance with environmental regulations including data analysis and reporting related to environmental programs. Assists with data analysis, reporting, and customer service for the Cross Connection Control Program. Performs wastewater analyses, sample custody, data entry and record
keeping.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manages compliance with environmental regulations, conduct site visits, and trains team members on environmental requirements.
  • Performs data analysis and tracks compliance with Cross Connection Control
  • Program and assists with customer service.
  • Identifies potential issues and initiates responsive actions.
  • Mitigates environmental violations and continually evaluates processes and recommends improvements.
  • Works with internal and external customers and regulators to build positive relationships.
  • Conducts sampling and/or analysis, as required, to ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal requirements.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Programs including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Good working knowledge of federal and state environmental standards and regulations.
  • Thorough knowledge of water quality and environmental regulations affecting the business preferred.

Experience/Education

  • Minimum Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in water, wastewater, or environmental compliance.
  • A 4-year degree in physical, chemical, or environmental sciences may be substituted for experience.

Travel Requirements

  • Local and occasional regional.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass motor vehicle background check.

Work Environment

  • Laboratory, Indoor/Outdoor, production/office environments.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
  • Stairs required.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors to conduct testing using normal colorimetric methods.
