Position Information
Posted Range: $26.69/hour
This position may be eligible for annual incentive pay and contracted increases as determined by the collective bargaining agreement, and you will have the opportunity for continued salary growth.

Primary Role
The Sub Station Operator Helper works as assigned in any of the Operator classification on a temporary basis.
Key Accountabilities
In addition to the temporary assignment from time to time to the Operator classifications, the Sub Station Operator Helper will assist the regular Station Operators in any of their duties when so assigned by supervision, especially as directed by the Routine Maintenance Card program.
The Sub Station Operator performs preventative maintenance of the type of kind assigned to Operators such as cleaning, painting, tightening, minor adjusting, lubrications, inspections, testing, making minor part replacements, packing valves, etc.
The Sub Station Operator also works as a Shop Mechanic Helper.
Experience/Education
- A high school diploma or GED
- At the completion of the training program, the candidate may need to demonstrate the ability to operate the station
