Primary Role

The Sr Specialist, Corp Business Development is responsible for successfully coordinating, communicating, monitoring and supporting acquisition activities in alignment with corporate and business development goals.
This role will draft communications and responses in support of growth opportunities and other strategic initiatives that help to promote the delivery of company growth targets.
 

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage relationships with assigned areas of the company for the purpose of driving continuous improvement and delivering robust projects.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key staff involved in acquisition and origination activities. Maintain appropriate documentation related to each acquisition and benefits. 
  • Provide relationship mapping, presentation materials, letters of intent and other collateral material.  
  • Maintain internal resource database and externally facing business development webpage
  • Identify and escalate risks or areas of improvement. 
  • Support other business development, operational, and corporate initiatives such as creating white papers, participating in strategy and information sessions and developing presentation materials.
  • Perform additional duties as requested or required to support the business development activities of the company.
     

Knowledge/Skills

  • Computer literacy.  
  • Competent in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, flow-charting, project scheduling 
  • Efficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong project management skills (e.g., planning, organizing, directing, monitoring, and reporting on project activities).    
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and produce quality materials while achieving results and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize and re-prioritize quickly. Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.                                                                                                  

Experience/Education

  • 5 + years of business development, communications/marketing, project management and/or operations experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Strategy, Marketing, Business Project Management or related field preferred.
  • Relevant job-related equivalent experience will be considered.
     

Travel Requirements

As needed, up to 10%.
